I find beauty in strange things, I could stare at a painting and never find beauty in it but show me old machinery or strange architecture and I'm hooked. I love rat rods and some day I will build myself one, something along the lines of the "High Gear Hauler." I drive a truck that is older than me that I repaired and modified with the help of some of my friends. I would love to find someone who appreciates me for who I am and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

I'm straightedge, and I'm not a big fan of parties. I have much better things to do with my time or spend my money on. I don't like to play games, I don't lie, I don't believe in it, It just isn't right. I've never really been in a relationship that lasted for more than a year, mostly because the girls I was dating didn't really understand why I loved working on mechanical things and they didn't want to take part in anything even remotely like that. I work on my truck and other people's trucks regularly, not because they are junk, far from it, but because it's enjoyable and I always learn something new. I can't go into a store to look around for nothing in particular, it drives me nuts. I'm not looking for one night stands or anything like that. Well, what can I say..I'm all over the place in many different aspects..I have great friends spread out from Montreal, NY, VT, and NH, which I like to visit often. I have a great place in North Hero, but it gets a little blah all by myself, unless I'm planning a bonfire party or something, then it's not quite so blah ;). I love hosting parties at my place. The property is great for that.. In the summer I love being out on the lake waterskiing, swimming, and just lounging out there. Love camping, and try to get to the ocean at least once a year. Ahh, then fall..maybe my favorite season..out on the golf course checking out the foliage or at one of my best friends on Sunday for wings on the barbque and patriots football. And then in the winter I like snowboarding, skiing, and riding snowmobile with friends in and around the islands. So, if you're the type that likes to sit home, and very rarely likes to go out...I would say, move on to the next profile!! That's not to say I don't like to stay in with a good movie..I do, but not ALL the time. When I do, I like action adventure, fantasy type (ie. Lord Of The Rings) and comedy. Love Adam Sandler! Music..I like all kinds. Reggae, hip hop, rock, r&b, bluegrass..and not necessarily in that order. I don't care much for country, but there are a few songs out there that I like. And I love live shows.. So if you're the type that would rather sit at home, and very rarely likes to go out...I'd say, move on to the next profile!! I've been living happy and on my own but find it is time to double the pleasure with a man of similar outlook. I love my work and contributing back in the world, being on or near the lake, kayaking at sunset, camping, boating/sailing, motorcycling, cooking for friends and family, kids, art, animals, the blessing of good friends and family, travel, being sensual and the magic of being alive. I have learned many lessons through the waves of some rough waters and understand how our experiences shape us and teach us. I trust you do too.
