  I spent several years at Fort Drum, NY and just loved the short drive over to White Face. Fantastic skiing and awesome night life in and around the mountain. Spent many weekends skiing and enjoying. Terrific views and if you don't mind…

  What a view, we love the ride up the side of the mountain on the gondola, you can see Lake Placid on one side and Lake Champlain on the other. They have ski packages that include lessons, even for the kids.
